Tent city set up by THW during Germany floods in 2021

Whenever an emergency or a natural disaster takes place, first responders need to come up with a fast solution to ensure the safety of the community.

2 years ago, Germany experienced floods that forced thousands of residents to leave their homes and seek refuge. Technisches Hilfswerk (THW) had to improvise a way to keep the 5000 residents safe and provide them with medical assistance and any other essential services needed in the context of a natural disaster.

The fastest response solution was to build a tent city that had the capacity to host thousands of residents. Our SG300 tents made that possible, as they require no special tools for setup, they are sturdy and ideally sized for one family.

We are always happy to be able to help affected communities and we want to thank THW for their continuous trust in us!
