If you’re sourcing shelter or tent solutions for UK defence or emergency operations, the compliance question comes up fast. Are your suppliers vetted? Can they pass scrutiny? Do they meet the standards the MoD and prime contractors require?
JOSCAR answers that. And LANCO SAS is now registered.
What is JOSCAR?
JOSCAR (Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) is the UK defence and aerospace sector’s supplier vetting standard, managed by Hellios. Getting registered means passing a thorough audit across quality management, environmental practices, financial health and security. It’s the benchmark the industry uses to keep substandard suppliers out of supply chains and it’s famously hard to get through.
For procurement officers and prime contractors, a JOSCAR-registered supplier removes a layer of risk. The due diligence has already been done and the standard has already been met.
What this means in practice
LANCO designs and manufactures deployable shelters, aircraft hangars and tents for military, emergency services and public sector operations. Our ISO certifications (quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety) are listed and evidenced directly on the JOSCAR register. So when you’re evaluating shelter suppliers for your next project or framework agreement, LANCO clears the compliance bar from the start.
