Advancements in Demining Technology: Insights from Mine Action 2024

This April, our colleague Roald headed to Cavtat, Dubrovnik, Croatia, to participate in the 20th International Symposium Mine Action.

With particular reference to the conflict in Ukraine, the seminar included a broad overview of the most recent advancements in science and technology as well as sustainable alternatives for mine action. This year, the emphasis was on the important role that mine-detecting dogs play in humanitarian demining, as well as the impact that mine action has on the environment and women involved in it.

The attendees obtained insightful knowledge about the newest tools, technology, and approaches, as well as the chance to share experiences and talk about solutions to technical and management problems. The Swiss Confederation served as a partner nation and the Croatian Parliament served as the symposium's patron

The symposium was the ideal venue to exhibit our demining equipment, including the products we have developed for female demining personnel. It provided a great opportunity for creating new business partnerships and discussing the recent developments in demining. All in all, it was a great event, and we are looking forward to working with the partners we have met at Mine Action 2024!
